I will add a couple of new pages to this website soon. Before I do, I will explain a couple of things. For more context, visit my YouTube page. https://www.youtube.com/@AuthorVictoriaBolton
- Fun Fact: ALL my books were used in the Anthropic AI training lawsuit. That means AI used my books to train its programs. (Thanks for the future settlement). While I realize that some people have reservations about the new technology, I have come to terms with the fact that no matter how or what I write, it’s going to be judged. Why? Because they used my work. I have no plans or desire to change how I write because of it. I am just concentrating on releasing great stories. Enjoy my pre-2020 work.

2. Yes, for the videos I used AI. I think that is obvious. Why? The technology was the most cost-effective way I could make book trailers. But rest assured, I am my own source material. I taught myself how to use several programs. Each video has a six-step (program) process. So, it’s not just putting in a prompt. About 90% of each step consists of mistakes, so what you see is after I delete 90% of it, which is why it takes time. As I do more, it gets quicker.
3. I created all but one video. This includes designing character faces, styling hair, and selecting outfits before I create the scenes, followed by the actual animation and editing all the small pieces into a single trailer. I pull the descriptions from my books. What you see is the closest (not exact) visual representation of the characters there is. I am pleased with how it came out.
4. I also wrote all the lyrics for every song you hear. All of it was pulled from pages in my books (and I added some lines). I used Suno to make theme songs around the subjects in the books. I ensured that the chosen instruments aligned with the eras depicted in the books. So a TON of tweaking. I will be doing the same for Scions of Legacy. Big, cool merch and contest news is coming soon. Stay tuned.
5. Rude Boy USA, BunnyWine, and The Tide Is High are currently celebrating their 10th anniversary of release. I started writing RBUSA in the early 2010s. You will see some of the early sketches when the project was still an idea in my head in future posts.
